AN ORDINANCE appropriating the amount of $31,420 from unappropriated
monies in the Cumulative Reserve Fund for Domestic Water
Supply Development to Account 520 - 930, Other Structures
and Improvements, of the Capital Outlay classification,
in the 1966 appropriation for 520, Water-Sewer Fund.
WHEREAS, there are unappropriated monies in the Cumulative Re-
s serve Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development of the City of
Yakima, and
WHEREAS, the amount of $31,420 is required to be expended from
said fund by appropriating said amount to 520, Water-Sewer Fund in
order to pay for the installation of a 16" domestic water supply main
Dn Washington Avenue for transmission of water from the airport well
to the City's distribution system, and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money from the Cumulative Reserve
Fund for Domestic Water Supply Development is a proper expenditure
pursuant to Chapter 3.12 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1966 Budget, it could
not have been reasonably forseen that such an additional appropriation
would be required, and the City Council finds that an emergency exists
of the type contemplated by R.C.W. 35.33.090, and that it is in the
hest interests of the City to make the appropriation herein provided,
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the amount of $31,420 is hereby appropriated

4ater Supply Development to Account 520 - 930, Other Structures and
iliprovements of the Capital Outlay classification in the 1966 appro-
priation for 520, Water - Sewer Fund.
Section 2. This Ordinance is one making an appropriation and

Tion as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 24th day of
October, 1966.
