AN ORDINANCE declaring buildings at Iliq South Neches Avenue, within
the City of Yakima, to be a nuisance; requiring the
abatement and removal of the same; providing for serving
of Ordinance; and directing the City Attorney of the
City of Yakima to commence an action for abatement of
said nuisance, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
• Section 1. That the buildings located at 1110 South Neches Avenue,
within the City limits of the City of Yakima, more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Lot 4, Block "J", South Park Additien, City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington;
• said buildings having been vacant and unoccupied for a period of more
than two years last past and having become in such condition as to
III constitute a fire hazard dangerous to persons and property, and a
menace'to the public health and safety, and in such a state and condi-
tion as to. constitute a nuisance, are hereby declared to be a nuisance..
Section 2. That the owner of said property, or the person or
persons having charge . thereof, are hereby required to abate and remo.e
said nuisance within 30 days of thedate of passage of this ordinance.
Sectjoh_3. That after passage of this ordinance, the Fire Marshal
of the City of Yakima shall serve or cause to be served upon the owner
of said property, or the person in charge of said property, a certified
copy of this ordinance, such service to be accomplished by personal
service or by mailing a certified copy of this ordinance to the owner
• or other person.
Section 4. That if said nuisance is not abated and removed withiri
said 30 day period, the City Attorney of the City of Yakima is hereby

411 directed to commence action in the Superior Court of the State of
Washington in and for the County of Yakima for the purpose of abating
said nuisance.
Secti 5. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare
of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by
law and by the City Charter.
