AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of the Planning Commission
and rezoning certain property located at 415 North 2nd
Street, in the City of Yakima, Washington, from R -3,
Multiple - Family Zone, to B -I, Modified Business Zone.
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, the City Council of
• the City of Yakima held a hearing on the 26th day of July, 1965, upon
the recommendation of the Planning Commission that real property locat-
ed at 415 North 2nd Street, within the City of Yakima, Washington, the
legal description of which is set out hereinbelow, be rezoned from
R -3, Multiple - Family Zone, to B -I, Modified Business Zone, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the
Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the rea-
sons that such rezoning is in accord with good planning and with the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Yakima; that the majority of proper-
ty owners in the vicinity do not oppose the change in classification;
that the needs of the City and community do require such change and

• ness purposes, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section I. That the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
the City of Yakima that the following described real property located
at 415 North 2nd Street, in the City of Yakima, Washington, and more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 9 and 10, Block 46, Town of North Yakima, now Yakima,
as recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, page 10, records of
Yakima County, Washington;
be approved and that said property be rezoned from R -3, Multiple -
Family Zone, to B -I, Modified Business Zone, be, and the same is
hereby, approved and said real property is hereby rezoned, to B -I,
• Modified Business Zone.
Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and de-
picted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared by and
for the City.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by
law and by the City Charter.
