( D l AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the alley, 8 feet wide situated directly East of and abutting Lot 13, Block 8, Broadway Park Addition No. 2, to the City of Yakima, Washington, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume I of Plats, Page 10, records of Yakima County, Washington. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima desires to vacate the hereinafter described portion of a public alley, and WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Council, a hearing on said vacation was set for the 9th day of August, 1965, at the hour of 3:00 o'clock p.m., in the office of the City Council at the City Hall,, Yakima, Washington, and notices thereof were duly given in the manner provided by statute by the City Clerk of said City, and WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said vacation, no objection was made thereon or filed, and it being deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima that said portion of alley be vacated, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the following described portion of a public alley • in the City of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: The alley, 8 feet wide, situated directly. East of and abutting Lot 13, Block 8, Broadway Park Addition No. 2, to the City of Yakima, Washington, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume I of Plats, Page 10, records of Yakima County, Washington; be,and the same is, hereby vacated. Section 2. The City of Yakima hereby reserves all necessary ease- ments and rights of way for the installation and maintenance of any and all water mains, sewers or utilities of any and all kinds which may now exist in said vacated portion of the above described alley or which the City may hereafter desire to construct therein, and no buildings shall be constructed on any portion of said vacated alley without the prior approval of the City. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
