AN ORDINANCE appropriating the amount of $162,000.00 from unanticipated
. revenues in Fund No. 911, The 1962 Street Improvement
Construction Fund to be expended in the manner as pro-
vided by the 1962 General Obl igation Street Improvement
Bond Ordinance.
WHEREAS, there were unanticipated revenues in the 1962 Street
Improvement Construction Fund of the City of Yakima, and
WHEREAS, certain projects were undertaken in conjunction with the
.Street Improvement Program as authorized under the 1962 General Obli-
gation Street Improvement Bond issue in the amount of $2,600,000.00
and to date reimbursements have been and will be made in the approxi-
mate amount of $162,000.00 to the 1962 Street Improvement Construction
Fund, and
WHEREAS, the bonding ordinance authorizes expenditures frOM the
1962 Street Improvement Construction Fund in the amount of $2,600,000,
and
WHEREAS, due to the reimbursements of monies in the amount of
III $162,000.00 there are funds in excess of the amount authorized for
expenditure from the 1962 Street Improvement Construction Fund, now,
therefore,
IT IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section I. That the amount of $162,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from unanticipated revenues in the 1962 Street Improvement Construc-
tion Fund to be expended as authorized by the 1962 General Obligation
Street Improvement Bond Ordinance.
Section 2. This Ordinance is one making an appropriation and
shal I take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publ ica-
tion as provided by law and by the City Charter.
