4, AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of Spruce Street
in the City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been fi led with the City Council of the
City of Yakima providing for the vacation of the hereinafter described
property, and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Counci I, a hearing on
said petition was set for the 7th day of March, 1966, at the hour of
3:00 o'clock p.m., in, the office of the City Council at the City Hall,
Yakima, Washington, and notices thereof were duly given in the manner
provided by statute and by the City Clerk Of said City, and
WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said petition no objection was made
thereon or .fi led, and It being deemed for the best interests of the
• City of Yakima that said petition be granted and said portion of said
street be vacated, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA!
Section 1. That the following described street in the City of
Yak i ma, Wash ington, to-wit:
The East 140 feet of Spruce Street between South Sixth and
South .Seventh Avenues, in the City of Yakima, Washington;
be, and the same is, hereby vacated.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 7th day of
March, 1966.
