III AN ORDINANCE declaring a multiple-residence building at 701-03-05-07
East Maple within the City of Yakima, to be a nuisance;
requiring the abatement and removal of the same; pro-
viding for serving of Ordinance; and directing the City
Attorney of the City of Yakima to commence an action
for abatement of said nuisance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the, multiple-residence building located at
701-03-05-07 East Maple, within the City Limits of the City of Yakima,
and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Lot 9, Block 155 of Home Addition to North Yakima,
now Yakima, Washington, recorded in Volume "A" of
Plats, page 23, records of Yakima County, Washington;
which properT owned by Victor Moreau, said multiple-realdenbe
building having been vacant and unoccupied for a period of more than
• two years last past and having become in such condition as to consti-
,
tute a fire hazard dangerous to persons and property, and a menace
to the public health and safety, and in such a state and condition as
to constitute a nuisance, is hereby declared to be a nuisance.
Section 2. That the owner of said property, or the person or
persons having the charge thereof, are hereby required to abate and
remove said nuisance on or before July 1, 1961.
pection3 That after passage of this ordinance, the Fire Marshal
of the City of Yakima shall serve or cause to be served upon the owner
of said property, or the person in charge of said property, a certifi.d
copy of this ordinance.
Section 4. That if said nuisance is not abated and removed on
or before July 1, 1961 the City Attorney of the City of Yakima is
• hereby directed to commence action in the Superior Court of the State

of ITashington in and for the County of Yakima for the 'purpose of
abating said nuisance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty .days after its passagep approval and publication as provided
by law and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL signed and approved this 26th day of
April 1961.
