HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-301 ORDINANCE NO. 20/ III • AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of S675.00 from the unappropriated moneys in the Yakima Ditch Protection Bond Redemption Fund to Account 5-01, Interest, of the Interest & Debt Redemption classification of the 1961 appropriation for 71.4 - Yakima Ditch Protection Bond Redemption Fund. WHEREAS, there are unappropriated moneys in the Yakima Ditch 2ro- tection Bond Redemption Fund, and . WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1961 Budget It could not have reasonably been anticipated that on December 1, 1961 it would be necessary to pay the first interest payment of $675.00 on the issued'by the City for ditch protection under Ordinance No 242, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an emergency exists of ti' type contemplated in R.C.W. 35.33.0909 and that it is in the best An- terest of the people of the City of Yakima to make the appropriation 411 herein provided, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section,l. That the sum of $675.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated moneys of the Yakima Ditch Protection Bond Redemptio!n. . Fund to Account 5-01, Interest, of the Interest & Debt Redemption classification of the 1961 appropriation for 71.4 - Yakima Ditch teetion Bond Redemption Fund. Section 2.
