WHEREAS, such a Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program has been prepared fer the City of Yakima which attached hereto, and. . ,..,,. ....... -- . - - ..••• WHEREAS, a hearing was duly and regularly held on December 11, 1961, of whendue notice was given by publication and as provided by . . , . . . .. . law, and • . - . . . . . WHEREAS,Hthe City Council of the City of Yakima finds that said III Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program as presented and as attached hereto is ,proper and in the best interests of the people of the City of Yakima, and that.because said plan has to be adoDted on 0i before January 1, 1962,' a emergency exists, now, therefore, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIKA: ' . Section •1„ That the Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program for the City of Yakima, which consists of an arterial street map and de- . tailed summary sheets, cop' of which are hereto attached and by this . : reference incorporated herein, is -hereby approved and adopterL . . . - Section-2- •The City Clerk of the City of Yakima is hereby directed to file with the Director of HighwayS of•the 6f Washirgton a . certified copy of this resolution, together with the said Six-Year Comprehensive Street Program, within 50 is from the date hereof, 111 • Section 3., This ordinance is one to provide for the jmmediate , preservation of the public peace, - kroperty, health and safety of' the . . .. .. \ . ...- people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby declared to III exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
