AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of 8286.00 frem.the unappropriated
moneys in the Airport Improvement Fund to Account 6-31„
Construction &.0ther Improvements, of the Capital or
Betterment Classification of the 1962 appropriation for
63 - Airport ImproveMent Fund. .
WHEREAS, there are unappropriated moneys in the Airport Improve-
ment of the City of Yakima, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1962 Budget, it could
not have reasonably been foreseen that the additional-stm of $286.00
would be required in Account 6-31, Construction &.0ther Improvements,
of the Capital or Betterment classifidation of the 1962 appropriation
. ' for 63 -,Airport Improveme.nt Fund, to cover the cost of shielding
airport lights in Order 'GO complete the 1961 contract for construction
and lighting to FAA requirements for this phase of the airport improve-.

• WHEREAS, the City Conmdil finds that an emergency exists of the .
type contemPlated in R.C.W. 35.33.090,. and that it i8 in the best in-
terest s of the people of the City of Yakima to make the appropriation
herein provided, now„. therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:

Section That the sum of -8286,00 is hereby appropriated from

the unappropriated moneys in the Airport ImprovementTund to Account
6-31, Construction & Other Improvements, of the Capital or Betterment
classification of the 1962 appropriation for 61 - Airport IMprovement
Fund.
Section 2. This ordinance is one making an appropriation and

tion as provided by law and by the City Charter
