AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating the delivery or sale of gasoline, oil, other petroleum products or aviation fuel to the Yakima Municipal Airport; requiring a license for such activities; imposing a charge on such deliveries or sales; and amending Sections 5.08.010, .020 and .030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF. YAKIMA: Section 1. That Section 5.08.010 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "5.08.010 LICENSE REQUIRED—FEE. It shall be unlawful for any oil company, association, corporation, firm, person or con- cern to make delivery of gasoline, oil, other petroleum products or aviation fuel to the Yakima Municipal Airport without first securing a license so to do hereby designated as 'Airport Petroleum License.' Such license shall be obtained from the City Clerk and shall expire on the first day of July of each year. The annual fee for such license is hereby fixed in the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00)." Section 2, That Section 5.08.020 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "5.08.020 RENTAL CHARGE FOR GASOLINE. All oil companies, persons, firms or corporations engaged in the business of selling or delivering gasoline or aviation fuel to aviators, aviation companies or commercial operators, located on the Yakima Munici- pal Airport shall pay a rental charge of Two Cents (20) for each gallon of gasoline or aviation fuel delivered to the Municipal Airport and none on each gallon of oil delivered to the Municipal. Airport." Section 3. That Section 5.08.030 of the City of Yakima Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "5.08.030 MONTHLY STATEMENT. Each of the oil companies or licensees so delivering gasoline or aviation fuel to the Munici- pal Airport shall, on or before the tenth day of each month, render to the City Manager of the City of Yakima a statement showing the number of gallons of gasoline and aviation fuel delivered to the Municipal Airport the previous month, to whom delivered, and the amount due the City therefor pursuant to this chapter, and accompany such statement with the remittance 411 of the amount due." -1- 111 Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
