411 AN ORDINANCE establishing minimum charges for domestic waterc
amending Section 7.68.255 of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section I. That Section 7.68.255 of the City of Yakima Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"7.68.255 MINIMUM PERIOD CHARGES.
(a) The minimum charges for water supplied inside of the city
limits for,the several sizes of meters installed shall be as
follows:
(1) ONE MONTH, OR LESS:
Sizes of Meter Quan. Water Allowed - Min. Charge
5/8" x 3/4" 600 cu. ft. or less $ 2.00
3/4" 700 cu. ft. or less 2.25
1/ 1 2 : 800 cu. ft. or less
1200 cu. ft. or less 2.50

2" 2000 cu. ft. or less 4.75
3" 3500 cu. ft. or less 7.00
4" 5200 cu. ft. or less 9.50
6" 8500 cu ft. or less 14.50

(2) TWO MONTH PER/OD OR LESS, BUT MORE THAN ONE MONTH:

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
by the City Charter.
