AN ORDINANCE relating to stopping, standing and parking motor vehicles;
prohibiting the parking of motor vehicles,on certain
streets and avenues within the City of Yakima at certain
times; and adding a new section to the City of Yakima
Municipal Code, to follow Section 9,36.070 thereof, and
to be numbered Section 9.36.075 of the City of Yakima
Municipal Code.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That there is hereby added a new section to the
City of Yakima Municipal Code, to follow Section 9.36.070 thereof,
and to be numbered Section 9.36.075, which shall read as follows:
"9.36.075 PART-TIME PARKING RESTRICTIONS. The operator
of a vehicle shall-not stop, park or angle park such vehicle
between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. and between the
hours of 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M., on the streets and avenues
hereinafter indicated:
Both sides of Lincoln Avenue from 24th Avenue to
40th Avenue.
Both sides of Tieton Drive from 16th Avenue to
42nd Avenue.
Provided, that no time parking restrictions on said streets
and avenues-shall be applicable, and unlimited time parking
shall be al lowed thereon, on Sundays and on holidays specified
in Section 9.36.170 of this Code."
.Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and
by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 30th day of
March, t964.
