ITEM TITLE: Set August 15, 2017 as the date for a closed record appeal
hearing to consider an appeal regarding the Hearing Examiner's
decision on a Type (2) and Administrative Adjustment application
from Yakima Neighborhood Health Services for a proposal to
convert an existing commercial building into a multi -family
residential development

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Hearing Examiner issued his decision for approval, subject to conditions, on May 22, 2017.
A notice of the decision was sent to the applicant and parties of record on May 24, 2017. On
June 7, 2017, a timely appeal was filed. On June 12, 2017, a notice of the appeal was sent to the
applicant, appellant, and parties of record to begin a 30 -day comment period to receive written
argument or memorandum on the appeal. On July 13, 2017, a 15 day rebuttal period began for
the appellant to provide a response to the documents received. You are now being asked to set
August 15, 2017 as the date for a closed record appeal hearing.
