AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a public street in the
City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council of the
City of Yakima providing for the vacation of the hereinafter described
0 property, and
/-- WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the City Council, a hearing on
said petition was set for the 10th day of August, 1964, at the hour
of 3:00 o'clock P.M., in the office of the City Council at the City
Hall, Yakima, Washington, and notices thereof were duly given in the
manner provided by statute and by the City Clerk of said City, and
WHEREAS, upon the hearing on said petition no objection was made
thereon or filed, and it being deemed for the best interests of the
City of Yakima that said petition be granted and said portion of said
street be vacated, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described street in the City of
II! Yakima, Washington, to-wit:
A strip of land 60 feet in width, the centerline of which
is described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast borner of Lot 13, Block 8,
Broadway Park Addition No. 2, said corner lying on the
North line of Lenox Avenue; thence East along said North
line a distance of 173 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence Northerly, at right angles to said North line, a
distance of 132 feet to an angle point; thence Westerly at
an angle of 45° with the previously described line produced
North of the angle point, a distance of 195 feet more or less
to an angle point; thence Northerly along a line which lies
parallel to and 30 feet Easterly of the Easterly line Broad-
way Park Addition No. 2 to the North line of Lot 17, Block
1, Broadway Park Addition No. 2.
All lying in the Northwest quarter of Section 30, Township
13 North, Range 19 East W.M., Yakima County, State of Wash-
ington;
be, and the same is, hereby vacated.
0 Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law
and by the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this 10th day of
