AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of the Planning Commission and,reioning certain property located at 811 and 813 North Front in the City of Yakima, Washington, from R-3, MultipleFamily Zone, to M-1, Light Industrial Zone. '410 WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, the City Council of the City of Yakima held a hearing on the 3Ist day of August, 1964, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission that real property located at 811 and 813 North Front Street, within the City of Yakima, Washington, the legal description of which is set out hereinbelow, be rezoned from R-3, Multiple-Family Zone, to M-I, Light Industrial Zone, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the reasons that such rezoning is in accord with good planning and with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Yakima; that the majority of property owners in the vicinity do not oppose the change in classifi- cation; that the needs of the City and community do require such change and that the highest and best use of said property is for light industrial purposes, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section I. That the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Yakima that the following described real property located at 811 and'8I3 North Front Street in the City of Yakima, Wash- ington, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Lots 10 and II, Block 2, Town of North Yakima, now Yakima,' Washington according to the Plat recorded in Volume E of Plats, page I, records of Yakima County, Washington; be approved and that said property be rezoned from R-3, Multiple-Family Zone, to M-I, Light Industrial Zone, be, and the same is hereby, approved and said real property is hereby rezoned, to M-I, Light Industrial Zone. .Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared by and for the City. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thir- ty days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
