AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of. the Planning Commission and rezoning certain property located at 2904 Nob Hill Boulevard in the City of Yakima, Washington, from R -2, Two - Family Zone, to 8 -2, Local Business Zone. • WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, the City Council of the City of Yakima held a hearing on the 23rd day of November, 1964, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission that real property located at 2904 Nob Hill Boulevard, within the City of Yakima, Wash- ington, the legal description of which is set out hereinbelow, be rezoned from R -2, Two - Family Zone, to B -2, Local Business Zone, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the rea- sons that such rezoning is in accord with good planning and with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Yakima; that the majority of propert} owners in the vicinity do not oppose the change in classification; • that the needs of the City and community do require such change and that the highest and best use of said property is for local business purposes, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section I. That the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Yakima that the following described real property located at 2904 Nob Hill Boulevard in the City of Yakima, Washington, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit: That part of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 26, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., described as follows: Beginning at a point 333.2 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said subdivision, which point is also 332.2 feet West of the City Monument located on the center line of 28th Avenue, 1 foot West of the true Northeast corner; thence South 0° 06' East 24 feet to the South line of Nob �. Hill Boulevard and the true point of beginning; thence con- tinuing South 0° 06' East 120.51 feet; thence West 110 feet; thence North 0° 13' West 120.51 feet to the South line of Nob Hill Boulevard; thence East 110 feet to the true point of beginning, as recorded at the County As- lessor's Office, County of Yakima, State of Washington; c', oast be rezoned from R -2, Two-Family Zone, to B -2, Local Business Zone, be, and the same is hereby, approvec and said real property is hereby rezoned, to B -2, Local Business Zone. Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and de- picted on the next regularly amended Use District Map prepared by and for the City. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to • file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
