The impact of this work has been both noticeable and significant. Through consistent communication, coordinated outreach, cleanup activities, enforcement when appropriate, and connections to available services, your teams have demonstrated what can be accomplished when agencies work together with a shared commitment to both people and place. The Board has observed a clear improvement this year in many of Yakima County's major entrances, intersections, transportation corridors, and shared public greenspaces. These areas shape the daily experience of residents and often provide the first impression visitors, employers, and prospective investors have of our community. Their appearance and condition matter. Clean and well-maintained gateways and greenspaces contribute to public safety, community pride, economic vitality, recreation, and the overall vibrancy of the Yakima Valley. This progress did not happen by accident. It reflects the dedication of frontline staff, law enforcement officers, code enforcement personnel, outreach teams, cleanup crews, services providers, transportation employees, and community partners who continue to respond to challenging situations with professionalism and persistence. We ask that this appreciation be shared with the employees and teams whose daily work has made this progress possible.Their efforts are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. Thank you for your continued partnership and for your commitment to keeping Yakima County's entrances, transportation corridors, and shared greenspaces clean, safe, welcoming, and vibrant. 128 North Second Street I Room#232 I Yakima,WA 98901 1509-574-1500 I www.yakimacounty.us/cmrs 105 BOARD OF YAKIMA COUNTY ,,,,„,„.40",,,..
