Reporting and Review
A biannual progress report will be provided to Jodi Daly, PhD, President &CEO, for review.
Reports should summarize progress against the performance measures above, implementation
milestones achieved, use of awarded funds, challenges or barriers encountered, and any
recommended adjustments to improve program effectiveness. Please note that the first $75,000
is scheduled to be used before June 30, 2027.
We recognize that many of the intended outcomes of the Officer Wellness and Resiliency
Program—such as improved resilience, well-being, family relationships, and organizational
health—are not easily captured through specific quantitative measures. Accordingly, the
purpose of the reporting requirement is not to create an administrative burden or require the
Department to establish or maintain complex metrics.
Rather, we are seeking a meaningful narrative assessment of the program's progress and impact.
At a minimum, the Department should report on the number of officers and/or staff served, the
services or activities provided, and feedback or observations regarding the program's
effectiveness, including examples of positive outcomes or areas where adjustments may be
beneficial.
This information will provide the Board with a reasonable understanding of the program's reach,
value, and impact while allowing the Department flexibility in how outcomes are assessed and
communicated.
The information provided through these reports will be used to assess program performance,
identify opportunities for improvement, and determine whether adjustments are necessary to
maximize the initiative's success. Program outcomes may also be reported to the Board of
Directors as part of the organization's ongoing oversight and accountability process. We
acknowledge that no personal or individually identifiable information will be shared.
The expectation is that the program will demonstrate measurable and sustainable improvements
consistent with the objectives and business case presented in the approved proposal. Continued
funding and organizational support beyond the initial award period, and any future funding
commitments, will be contingent upon demonstrated progress toward the identified
performance measures, appropriate use of awarded funds, and timely submission of required
progress reports.

This approach is intended to create a clear connection between the award of funds,
implementation of the program, measurable outcomes, and ongoing accountability to Executive
Leadership and the Board of Directors.
Communications and Recognition
Comprehensive Healthcare believes it is important to share the positive impact of this initiative
and the partnership supporting it. As the program is implemented, we may request brief
leadership perspectives, quotes, or testimonials regarding the value and impact of the Officer
Wellness and Resiliency Program for use in Comprehensive Healthcare's marketing and
communication efforts. Individual names will not be necessary unless specifically agreed upon,
and any shared feedback may be provided in a manner that protects the privacy and
confidentiality of participating officers and staff.
We would also welcome the opportunity to jointly announce this award and partnership through
a press release or other appropriate public communication. We anticipate that such an
announcement could include comments from you as Chief of Police and from Comprehensive
Healthcare leadership regarding the importance of investing in officer wellness, resiliency, and
the long-term health of those who serve our community. Any public communication would be
coordinated collaboratively with the Department in advance.
Thank you for your leadership and commitment to the health and wellness of our officers, staff,
and community. We look forward to partnering with you throughout the implementation of this
important initiative and to reviewing and celebrating the meaningful outcomes it achieves.
Sincerely,
11/VA4
