If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a "Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council. Executive Session - 5:00 p.m. Executive Session regarding pending litigation pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) 1. Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Interpreter Services 4. Public Comment There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written communication and e- mail messages are strongly encouraged. State law prohibits electioneering at City facilities. Resolution authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with RH2 Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering services for Sludge Thickening Improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wastewater Capital Fund 478) E. Resolution authorizing a Professional Services Agreement with RH2 Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering services for Grit Removal System Improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wastewater Capital Fund 478) F. Resolution authorizing grant acceptance from the Department of Commerce for Clean Building Performance for the Public Works building and the Yakima Convention Center G. Resolution authorizing the acceptance of a Federal Aviation Administration grant for the Work Package 02 -Terminal Core (Ticket Counter), Phase 1 project, at the Yakima Air Terminal- McAllister Field H. Resolution authorizing grant acceptance from the Washington State Department of Commerce Office of Crime Victims Advocacy Community Services Divisions SFY27 Violence Against Women DVHRT Program 8. Public Hearings A. First public hearing on the 2026 Draft Annual Action Plan B. Public Hearing and Resolution declaring the utility easement rights obtained by the City in Ordinance No. 3384 located in the vacated alley under said Ordinance, in Yakima, Washington, to be surplus to the uses and needs of the City of Yakima, and authorizing disposition of such property rights to Agena, a Washington Nonprofit Corporation 9. Adjournment The next meeting is a City Council regular meeting on Monday August 3, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. 13. Council General Information A. Preliminary Council Agenda for the August 3, 2026 regular meeting B. Letter of Appreciation to ONDS Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings.
