WHEREAS, it is necessary to purchase a dictatil,q machine for tba more efficient operation of the 'legal Department, and WHEREAS, there is a surplus of xoney in Account 7-01, Assistant City Attorney, of the Salaries classification of the 1959 appropriation for the Legal Department, and HEREAS, an emergency exists requiring the transfer of the sum o $50000 from said account to Account 6-51, Office Machines and Equipment of the Capital or Betterment accounts classification for 02 - TJegal Department and such emergency 0 could not have boen reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of-the 1959 Budget for the Legal Department and the City Council finds that it' is in the best interests of the people of the City o: Yakima to make such traKsfer and the action contem- plated is authorized by TI.C.W. 35.3120. now, therefore BE IT ORDAIT3D BY TNE CITY CP YAKIMA; seotto.n 1 „, That the eum of 3500.00 is hereby transferred from Account 7-01, Assistant City Attorney, 01 the Salaries classification to Account Office Machines andEquipment of the Capital or Betterment accounts clafication, all within the 1959 appropriation. for 02 - Legal Department, and the Director of Finance of the nty of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to make the aforesaid transfer.
