AN ORDINANCE traTisferring the sum of $125,00 from the Maintenance ,
and Operation c/assification to the Sa1ario2'classi- •
fication all within the 1959 appropriation for
10 - Municipal Court and .declaring an emerge
WHEREAS a surplus exists in Account 7-25, Services -
. Witness Fees & Expense, o± the Maintenance and Operations classi-
fication of the 1959 appropriation for the Municipal Court, and
WHEREAS Account 7-01 Protem Judge & Extra Help, has
heretofore been depleted to the extent that no funds remain
available for salary of a Judge Protem for Municipal Court, and
WHEREAS a Judge Protem was hired by the City to act as
. .
such on DeCember 14 1 , 1959 and services of a Judge Protem for
Mtnicipal Court are necessary for the period of from December
0 . 21st to December 2 1959, inclusive and,
WHEREAS. an emergency exists requiring the transfer of
the sum of 3125.00 between 'said accounts, and the City Council
finds that it is in the best interests of the people of the
City of Yakima to make said transfer, and the action contemplated
is'authorized by R.C. 35.33.120, now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAITTED DY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the QUM of 1,125.00 is hereby transferred
from ACOOVDA; 7 - - Witness Pees & Expense, of the
Maintenance: and Operations classification to Aceoul'it7-01
Salaries Protem Judge & Extra Help of the Salaries classification
all within the 1959 appropriation for 10 -- Municipal Court.
Section. 2 The Director of Finance of the City of Yakima
III is hereby authorized and directed to make the aforesaid tra±„Isfer.

• Section 3.. This ordinance is one to pro for the
iMmediate preservation of the public peace property health
and E> afety of the People of the City of Yakima and an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect immediately upon its Passage approval
and publication as provided b,y law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, signed and approved this
