WHEREAS, 371 emergency has arisen requiring the cutting of a doorway and painting of office facilities for the City Civil sel 04mnission and such emergency could not have been reasonably f orese er at the time of the adoption of the 1959 Appropriation for 06 - City Civil Service, and WHEREAS, there jA a_surplus of money in Account 7-01 Salaries of the Salaries classification of the 1959 appropriation for 06- City Civil Service, .and- WHEREAS, an emergency exists requiring the transfer of the S sup of $300.00 from said account to Account 6-12, Building improve- ment of the Capital or Betterment accounts classification for 06 - City Civil Service and such emergency could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the 1959 Budget and the City Council finds that it ie in the best interests of the people of the City of Yakima to Liake such transfer and the action contemplated ie authorized by R.O.W. 35.33.120 now, therefore, BE IT ORDAIUBD BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the sum of 8300.00 is hereby transferred from Account 7-01, Salaries, of the Salaries classification to Account 6-12, Building improvement of the Capital or Betterment Accounts classification, all within the 1959 aPPropriation for 06 - City Civil Service, and the Director of Finance of the City 41 1 of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to make the aforesaid t:zmnsfer. • Section 2 This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of the peopie . of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and pubiim cation as provided by law and the City Charter.
