AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of tile Planning COD-
mission for the rezone of certain property between
Logan and West Mead.
WaEREAS on 1959, at .a regularly

recommendation of the Planntng Commission that certain specified
property in the City of Yakima to-wit
The North two thirds of the West 132 feet of tho
South half of the Southwest Quarter of the SOut; Quarer of the Southwest Quarter of Section
Township 13 North Range 19, E.W.Y., except the
North 72 feet the South 70 feet and the Sw6th 30
feet., and
The East 277 feet of the We 159.7 feet of said
South 11a3± of the Southwest Quarter, of the South
west Quartor of the Southwest Quarter of Section
30 Township 13 'korth Range lq, EiW,M.„ except
the lqortb. 72 feet and the South 130 feet.
be rezoned from R-2 Two Paluily 'Reidential to B-2, Local Business
Zone and
WHBRBAS, the City Council - ands that such recommendation
of the plamning comission :o ich should be approved

City of Yakima; that the majority of property ors in the
vicinity do not oppose the change in classification; that the
needs of the city and commvility do require such change and that

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 10 The recommendation of the Planning Commission
of the City of Yakima that the following described real property
situate between Logan and West Mead and more particularly des-
cribed as follows, to-wit:
The North two thirda o the 'fest 132 feet of the
South half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 30
TownshiD 13 North, Range 19, E.W.M., except the
North 72 feet, the South 70 feet and the South 30
feet.
Tie East 27,7 feet of the West 159.7 feet of said
South half of the Southwest Quarter, of the South-
west Quarter, of the Southwest Quarter of Section
30, Township 13 North, Range 19, E.W.M., except
the North 72 feet and the South 130 feet.

Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included
and depicted on the next regularly amended Use District Yap
Prepared by and for the said City.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified
oopy of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective thirty
days after it passage, epproval and publication as provided by
law and the City Charter,
