ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with Yakima Mechanical
Inc for the City Hall Chiller Replacement Project RT2858 (REET
Funds)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City of Yakima Project 2858 provided for the City Hall Chiller Replacement project. Final inspection for
this project has been completed and project acceptance is recommended. Project completion is subject
to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of Revenue. A final retainage payment of
$7,287.50 is due from the City to Yakima Mechanical Inc. for the completion of the work.
Project Manager: Kerry Jones
Contractor: Yakima Mechanical Inc
Contract Award: $158,388.75
Final Contract Cost: $157,847.25
Retainage Due: $7,287.50
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.

RECOMMENDATION: Accept Project.
