supelies of whatsoever nature, to be used for the maintenance,
repair and operation of vehicles and equipment owned by the City
of Yakima, and for the payment of such salaries, wages, tools,
equipment, machinery and all other iteins that may be necessary
or incidental to the operation of a City Garage.
Section 3. Each department of the City of Yakima for
which oaid materials and supplies are furnished or services
are performed by said City Garage shall be charged and billed
for the same, together with such overhead and handling charges
as from time to time may hereafter be established, and the
• Director of Finance shall pay by warrant from the appropriate
appropriation of each such department to said City Garage Fund,
the funds necessary to cover and pay for said charges.
111 Section 4. The Director of Finance and the City
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to transfer and
loan the sum of $10,000 from the Current Expense Fund of the
City of Yakima to the City Garage Fund, which said sum shall
be returned and repaid to the Current Expense Fund as soon as
the same has been accumulated in said City Garage Fund over
and above the amount necessary to maintain and operate the
same.
Section 5. This ordinance is one to provide for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health
and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emer-
