EE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OP YAKIMA: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. B is hereby amended to read as follows: E4ctiou 1© A person who wilfully takes possession of any goods are or merchandise offered for male by any wholesale or retail store or other mercantile e5tablishment without the consent of the seller with the intention converting such goods wares o ,er4handise to his own use without having paid the purchase prio4 thereof is 4uilty of shoplifting. Section 2. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate pisservation of the public peace health welfare and safety cf the people of the City of Yakina and an emergency is hereby dealared to exie,; and this ordindnce shall be in full ,forov aloe, effect immediately upon its passage approval and poblicatioa as provided by law aid the city charter.
