City Council Regular Meeting

Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per
speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written

Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion without
discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if

B. Set date of April 7, 2026, for a closed record public hearing to consider proposed amendments
to Yakima Municipal Code Title 15 Urban Area Zoning Ordinance
C. Resolution revising the City Council regular meeting schedule for 2026
D. Resolution authorizing award and agreement with Best Choice Inc dba Evergreen Services for
city-wide landscaping services (Enterprise/General/Special Revenue)
E. Resolution authorizing a contract extension with Connell Oil for the purchase of bulk fuels and
delivery of gasoline, diesel fuels and related products (General Fund/Enterprise Fund)

The next meeting is a City Council study session on March 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
13. Council General Information
A. Preliminary Council Agendas for the March 10, 2026 study session and March 17, 2026
regular meeting
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary
offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the
invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council
does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language
interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office
at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting. A Council packet is available for
