Morrie holds title to the following graves in Tah ©ma Cemetery, to -wit: Graves 1 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the wwg of Block 283, Section C and Graves 1, 2, 3 4 and 5 in the RE} of Block 283, Section. 0, and WHEREAS, no payment has heretofore been made for per- . petual care for said graves which has been heretofore duly • established at the rate of 815.00 per grave, and WHEREAS, the said Lawrence H. Morris has indicated his willingness and desire to exchange clear title to two of said graves, to -witm Graves 3 and 4 in the NEg of Block 283, Secti ©n C in said Tahoma Cemetery, in exchange for perpetual care for the balance of - e aid graves, and WHEREAS, the value of said two graves to be exchanged is elight1y in excess of the amount necessary to purchase per - petual care for the remainder of said graves, and it is deemed in the best interests of the people of the City of Yakima to make such exchange, now therefore • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF. YAKIaMA • Section 1. That upon the execution and delivery by Lawrence H. Morris of a deed to Graves 3 and 4 in the NE of Blook 283, Section C in `fahoma Cemetery to the City of Yakima the Cemetery Director and City Clerk shall issue to said Lawrence H. Morris a perpetual care_ receipt and a Perpetual care agreement covering the following described grave to - wit: Graves 1, 2 3, 4 and 5 in the mod;: of Block 283 Section C, and . Graves 19 2 and 5 in the NEg of Block 283 Section C, all in Tahoma Cemetery Yakima County, Washington. Section 2. The City Treasurer of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to transfer the sum of 5120.00 from the Cemetery Fund to the Cemetery Trust Fund and to credit the hereinbefore mentioned graves with perpetual care. Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of the public peace property health and safety of the people of the City of Yakima and an eme:cgency is hereby declared, to exist and this ordinance shall be in s "u11 force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and. the City Charter.
