ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with Interwest
Construction Inc for Project SC2783 Maclaren Vicinity Wastewater
Improvements (No Budgetary Impact)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City of Yakima Project 2783 provided for the reconstruction of roadway, sewer pipe, and sanitary sewer
manholes funded by Wastewater Construction Capital.
Final inspection for this project is complete with a recommendation that the project be accepted. Project
completion is subject to certificate of release from Labor& Industries, Department of Revenue, and
Employment Security Department.
Project Manager: Marc Cawley
Contractor: Interwest Construction Inc
Contract Award: $2,144,869.59
Final Contract Cost: $2,320,641.98
Retainage Due: $0
The total contract is for the construction only and does not include engineering and other costs. City
Council action is requested to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.

RECOMMENDATION: Accept Project.
