ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with Iron Horse LLC for
Project SC2819 2025 Wastewater Collection System Rehabilitation

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City of Yakima Project 2819 (Rudkin Rd. Trunk Sewer Main) provided for the construction of cured in
place pipe for rehabilitating sanitary sewer mains, side sewer reinstatements, pipe cleaning, and
rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes funded by Wastewater Construction Capital.
Final inspection for this project is complete with a recommendation that the project be accepted. Project
completion is subject to certificate of release from Labor& Industries, Department of Revenue, and
Employment Security Department.
Project Manager: Marc Cawley
Contractor: Iron Horse LLC
Contract Award: $1,519,020.18
Final Contract Cost: $1,579,166.81
Retainage Due: $72,969.40
The total contract is for the construction only and does not include engineering and other costs. City
Council action is requested to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.

RECOMMENDATION: Accept Project.
