ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with Central Washington
Asphalt for 2024 Northside Alley Paving Project 2759 (No Budgetary
Impact)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City of Yakima Project 2759 provided for paving alleys located from D Street to Willow Street, and from
6th Avenue to 4th Avenue. Project funded by CMAQ.
Final inspection for this project has been completed, and project acceptance is recommended. Project
completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of Revenue.
Project Manager: Dana Kallevig
Contractor: Central Washington Asphalt
Contract Award: $419,915.00
Final Contract Cost: $370,551.90
Retainage Due: $0
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
ITEM BUDGETED: Yes
STRATEGIC PRIORITY 24-25: A Resilient Yakima
RECOMMENDATION: Accept Project.
