Home My WebLink About1960-097 ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE accepting the recommendation of the Planning Com- mission for the rezone of certain property located in the vicinity of LiaGcln Avpnue and North/6th Avenue, WHEREAS, on March 9, 1960 at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council, a hearing was had upon the recom- mendation of the Planning Commission that certain specified property in the City of Yakima, to-wit: • The Worth 85 feet of Lot 1 Summitview ACTS Tracts be rezoned from R-3 Multiple Family Residential and 3-2, Local Business to 3-3 General 3usiness and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such recommendation of the Planning Commission for such rezoning should be approved for the following reasons, to-wit: That such rezoning is in laccord with good planning - and with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Yakima; that the maiority of property owners in the vicinity do not ciopose the Change in classification; that the needs of the city and comynity do require such chanse aad that the highe and best use is for General Business purpoces now therefore, BE IT ORDUNED BY Tiff CITY OP YAKIEA: Section 1. The recommendation of the Planning Com- mission of the City of Yakima that the following described real property located in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue•and NorthAth Avenue, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: 411 The North 85 feet of Lot 10 Summit viv Acre Tracts. be rezoned from R-3p Multiple Family Residential and B.-2p Local Business to B-3p General Businessp be and the same is hereby approved. Section 2. The above change in zoning shall be included and depicted on the net regularly amended Use Dis- trict Map prepared by and for the said City. Section 30 The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this ordinance. Section 4.
