• AN ORDINANCE transferring monies within the 1960 appropriation
for the Finance Department and declaring an
emergency.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1960
Budget, through inadvertence, funds were not appropriated
for parts for parking meters, and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists and the action contem-
plated herein is authorized by R.C.W, 35.33.120, and the City
Council finds it in the best interests of the people of the
City of Yakima to make the transfers hereinafter set forth,
now therefore
BE XT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following sus are transferred

• Section 2e The Aoting Director of Finance is hereby
authorized and directed to make the aforesaid transfers.
Section 3. This ordinance is one to provide for the
immediate presereation of the public peace, property, health
and safety of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emer—
gency is hereby deolared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage,
approval and publication as provided by lalr and the City
Charter.
