City Council Regular Meeting

Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per
speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.

Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion without
discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if
approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and consideration.

A. Status of Council adopted motions and direction from the November 12, 2025 and November

B. Ordinance imposing a one-tenth of one percent (0.1°/o) local sales and use tax to fund criminal
justice purposes
C. Ordinance imposing a Council-directed increase in Water and Wastewater tax rates to fund
Council specific programs and amending YMC 7.64.020
D. Ordinance imposing a Council-directed increase in the Stormwater tax rate to fund Council
directed programs and amending YMC 7.64.040
E. Ordinance imposing a Council-directed increase in Refuse tax rate to fund Council directed
programs and amending YMC 7.64.030

The next meeting is a City Council regular meeting on December 9, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the City
Hall Council Chambers.

A. Preliminary Council Agenda for the December 9, 2025 regular meeting
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary
offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the
invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council
does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language
interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office
at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting. A Council packet is available for
