City Council Regular Meeting

Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per
speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.
State law prohibits electioneering at City facilities. During Public Comment, speakers cannot
campaign for or against candidates or support or oppose any ballot measure in any
upcoming election.

profit corporation (General Fund)
F. Resolution authorizing a First Response Agreement between Yakima County Fire Protection
District No 4, the City of Union Gap Fire Department and the City of Yakima Fire Department

G. Resolution authorizing agreements with Flock Safety for annual subscription renewals

H. Resolution authorizing a renewal of the service agreement with Penser North America, Inc., to
serve as third party administrator of the City's workers' compensation program (Internal

I. Resolution ratifying and approving the City Manager's execution of a grant agreement with the
Washington State Office of Public Defense (General Fund: Revenue Positive)
J. Ordinance amending the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget for the City of Yakima and making
appropriations from Unappropriated Fund Balances within various Funds for expenditure
during 2025-2026 for various purposes (Second Reading)
K. Resolution authorizing a second amendment to the Commercial Lease Agreement between
the City of Yakima and the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce for property located at 10
North 9th Street in Yakima

A. Preliminary Council Agenda for the September 2, 2025 regular meeting
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary
offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the
invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council
does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language
interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office
