ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Acceptance of Taxilane Charlie Extension
Construction and Construction Management AP2495/AP2496
(Federally Funded Project)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Project Description: Implementation of approximately 1,900 feet of Taxilane system for future hangar
development, pavement markings, relocation of the airport's perimeter fencing, and installation of an
airport vehicle gate and pedestrian gate.
Construction Services Agreement with JUB Engineering, Inc. to manage construction and extension of
the airports Taxilane Charlie Project totaling $293,590 of which $264,231 were federally funded dollars
and $24,686.74 were PFC dollars. (AIP 3-53-0089-056-2023)
Construction was awarded to Hurst Construction, LLC in the amount of$2,172,989 of which
$2,061,778.86 was spent of which $1,855,600.97 was federally funded dollars and $206,177.89 were
PFC dollars. (AIP 3-53-0089-055-2023)
Project has been completed via FAA closeout letters and documentation submitted to L&I, DOR, and
ESD - Project acceptance recommended.
ITEM BUDGETED: Yes
STRATEGIC PRIORITY 24-25: A Thriving Yakima
RECOMMENDATION: Acceptance of Project.

This notice of grant closeout is based on the following conditions having been met: (1)all work included
in the project description has been satisfactorily completed,(2)there are no outstanding grant special
conditions,(3)all project costs reimbursed by FAA under this grant have been determined to be
reasonable,eligible and allowable,and(4)the sponsor has complied with all terms and conditions of the
grant agreement.
Final payment has been made and all administrative requirements are satisfied. A final cost review of the
grant has been completed and the final costs were determined to be reasonable and justified. There are no
differences in the amount of funds requested by the sponsor and the amounts paid out. If an audit reveals
any issues,this grant will be re-opened until the outstanding issues have been resolved.
Please be advised that in accordance with 2 CFR 200.333,you are required to retain all supporting project
documentation for a minimum period of three years from the date of the final request for reimbursement.
Because most grant obligations extend beyond three years,we strongly encourage you to retain grant
documentation for the life of the grant obligations.
