R-2003- 48 WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 14.08 RCW, and by the Joint Air Terminal Operations agreement dated June 30, 1982, the County of Yakima ("County") and the City of Yakima ("City") jointly own and operate the Yakima Air Terminal -McAllister Field ("the Airport"); and, WHEREAS, the Yakima Air Terminal -McAllister Field Board ("the Board") is the regulatory and administrative agency of the City and County for the Airport, with authority under RCW 14.08.200(7) to adopt rules and regulations for the management, government, and use of Airport properties; and, WHEREAS, on January 9, 2003, the Board resolved that it would be in the best interest of the Airport that Part III, Section 2 of the Yakima Air Terminal should be amended to read as follows: Section 2, Time and Place of Regular Meetings: The regular meetings of the BOARD shall be at 7:30AM at the McAllister Museum, 2008 S. 16th Avenue, Yakima, Washington, 98903. WHEREAS, this will be known as Amendment 7 to the Board's By-laws; now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY YAKIMA COUNTY AND THE CITY OF YAKIMA that Airport that Part III, Section 2 of the Yakima Air Terminal is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 2, Time and Place of Regular Meetings: The regular meetings of the BOARD shall be at 7:30AM at the McAllister Museum, 2008 S. 16th Avenue, Yakima, Washington, 98903. The Board adopted this amendment at its January 9, 2003 meeting. The Yakima County Commissioners adopted this joint resolution at its March 25, 2003 meeting. The meetings continue to be held on the 4th Thursday of the month (except the 3rd Thursday in November and December) at 7:30 am. In accordance with the Section X of our Bylaws, we are submitting this item for approval by the Commission and the Council.
