For Meeting of: July 22, 2025 ITEM TITLE: Yakima Training Center proclamation SUBMITTED BY: Vicki Baker, City Manager SUMMARY EXPLANATION: At the July 15, 2025 City Council meeting, there was a motion to bring forward a proclamation to recognize Yakima Training Center and the 250th US Army Anniversary and families in active-duty service. Attached is the proclamation for Council consideration. If approved, the proclamation will be read and presented to (USAAAD) Captain Ryan Borden, (EOD) Captain Chris Aselton, and (HQ Commander) Command Sargent Major Anton Ruffin.
