SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Yakima County Substance Abuse Coalition has requested surplus computer
equipment from the City of Yakima. This equipment will be used for the
AmeriCorps/Ecorp program.
This unique program renovates and rebuilds old computer equipment donated from
various businesses throughout the state. Once renovated, these computers are given to
low-income families. Because these computers are outdated and many are not working,
there is no monetary value to this equipment. The attached letter includes the City asset
identification numbers for the specific pieces of equipment.
