A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of a Conductivity Meter to
Yakima County.
WHEREAS, Yakima City Hall has a new A/C system which
has eliminated the need for water treatment at the old rooftop cooling
tower; and
WHEREAS, the City has declared this meter surplus; and
WHEREAS, Yakima County has offered to purchase the
equipment for $80, now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to take such
steps as are necessary and prudent to sell the meter to Yakima
County.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 19 day of
June '2001.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Yakima City Hall has a new A/C system which has eliminated the need for water treatment at
the old rooftop cooling tower. Therefore, the County of Yakima has requested to purchase
the surplus meter and pump for $275 for use at the County Courthouse.

Note: Agenda item # 10 has been modified; the chemical feed
pump has been removed from the surplus items list for use at the
City wastewater facility. The conductivity meter will remain as a
surplus item to be sold to Yakima County for $80.00.
