WHEREAS, Yakima City Hall has a new A/C system which has eliminated the need for water treatment at the old rooftop cooling tower; and WHEREAS, the City has declared this meter surplus; and WHEREAS, Yakima County has offered to purchase the equipment for $80, now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to take such steps as are necessary and prudent to sell the meter to Yakima County. Therefore, the County of Yakima has requested to purchase the surplus meter and pump for $275 for use at the County Courthouse. The conductivity meter will remain as a surplus item to be sold to Yakima County for $80.00.
