* AN ORDINAffCE declaring a residence building and out buildings at
1319 Fairbanks Avenue within the City of Yakima to be
a nuisance requiring the abatement and removal, of the
same v providing for serving of Ordinance, and directing
the City Attorney of the City of Yakima to commence an
action for abatement of said nuisance.
BE IT 0"OkINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
pection That the residence buildiNE together with out
buildings located at 1319 Fairbanks Avenue within the city
limits of the City of Yakima v and more particularly described
as follows; to-wit:
Beginning at a point 355 ft. North of the
Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 13,
11 1 Township 13 Nop Range 18 E.W.N., thence
Northerly on the East line of said Southwest
quarter of the Southwest auarter a distance
of 130 ft.; thence running westerly at right
angles a distance of 54 ft.; thence running
southerly and parallel with said East line
and 54 ft. Westerly thereof a distance of
130 ft.; thence easterly a distance of 54 ft0
to the place of beginning.,
which property is owned by Louise B. Messer, wad under the
control of Lloyd A. Porter as Guardian of the Estate of said
Louise B. Messer, said residence house and out buildings
having been vacant and unoccupied for a period of more than
two years lest past and having become in such condition as to
constitute a fire hazard dangerous to persons and property,
and a menace to the public health and safety, and in such a
state and condition as to constitute a nuisance, is hereby
411 declared to be a nuisaEce.

Sectioyl. 2. That the owner of said property, or the person
or persons having charge thereof, are hereby required to
abate and remove said nuisance within 30 days of the date of
passage of this Ordinance.
Section That after passage of this Ordinance the Fire
Marshal of the City of Yakima shall serve or cause to be
served upon the owner of said property, or the person in charge
of said property, a certified copy of this Ordinance.
Sectio. That if said nuisance is not abated and removed
within said 30 day period, the City Attorney of the City of
Yakima is hereby directed to commence action in the Superior
Court of the state of W in and for the County of
Yakima for the purpose of abating said nuisance.
3ectioI15. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate
preservation of the public peace 9 property, health and safety
of the people of the City of Yakima, and an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law and the City Charter. --
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, sinod and approved this
day of September, 1960.
