R-2025-102 authorizing the execution of Amendment 5 to the Interagency Agreement with Department of Ecology (ECOLOGY) for the former Tiger Oil site located at 2312 West Nob Hill Boulevard Project 2799. WHEREAS, Ecology has partnered with the City of Yakima (YAKIMA) for the cleanup and continued remediation of the former Tiger Oil site located at 2312 West Nob Hill Boulevard; and, WHEREAS, on May 19, 2015 Yakima entered into an Interagency Agreement with Ecology (R-2015-069) for cleanup activities of the former Tiger Oil site; and, WHEREAS, Ecology has prepared Amendment No.5 of the Interagency Agreement TCPRA-2015-YakiCM-00058 with the City of Yakima; and, WHEREAS, Amendment No.5 will redistribute the agreement's budget amongst grant tasks to better reflect project spending needs by moving $50,000 from Cleanup Construction to Engineering Design; and, WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that approval of this interagency agreement amendment is in the best interest of the City of Yakima; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute Amendment 5 of the Interagency Agreement with Department of Ecology for the former Tiger Oil site located at 2312 West Nob Hill Boulevard Project 2799, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as described in Agreement TCPRA-2015-YakiCM-00058 Amendment No.5. The Department of Ecology grant requires a 10% match. The amendment moves $50,000 from Cleanup Construction to Engineering Design to cover additional design costs.
