City Council Regular Meeting

Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per
speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged in advance of the meeting.
State law prohibits electioneering at City facilities. During Public Comment, speakers cannot
campaign for or against candidates or support or oppose any ballot measure in any upcoming
election.

Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion without
discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if
approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and consideration.
A. Approval of minutes from the June 3, 2025 City Council regular meeting and June 10, 2025

B. Approve payment of disbursements for the period May 1 - 31, 2025
C. May 2025 Investment Transaction Report
D. Set date of July 15, 2025, for a closed record public hearing to consider proposed
amendments to Yakima Municipal Code Title 14 Subdivisions and Title 15 Urban Area Zoning
Ordinance
E. Set date of July 22, 2025, for a closed record public hearing to consider a proposed rezone in
the Light-Industrial (M-1) zoning district
F. Resolution modifying the City Treasurers Petty Cash and Change Funds (Resolution R-2024-
126 adopted July 16, 2024)
G. Resolution authorizing an agreement with Yakima Mechanical Inc for City Hall Chiller
Replacement Project 2858 (REET Fund)
H. Resolution authorizing an agreement with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission to
provide funding for a dedicated DUI officer position (No Budgetary Impact)
I. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to extend and amend the City's current contract with
CWA, Inc. for Yakima-Ellensburg Commuter Services (Enterprise Fund)
J. Resolution authorizing Department of Ecology Grant Program Supplemental Agreement 5 for
environmental cleanup of Tiger Oil site at 2312 W Nob Hill Blvd Project 2999
K. Ordinance amending YMC 7.50.110 Meter Access (Enterprise Fund)

A. Public hearing to consider: A) Resolution adopting the Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program for the period of 2026 through 2031, and to amend the Transportation Systems Plan
2040; and B) Resolution amending the Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan Capital
Facilities Element (No budgetary impact)
B. Public Hearing relating to the Transportation Benefit District (TBD) modifying transportation list
to be funded by the district (No Budgetary Impact)

The next meeting is a City Council regular meeting on July 1, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
