Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per
speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.
State law prohibits electioneering at City facilities. During Public Comment, speakers cannot
campaign for or against candidates or support or oppose any ballot measure in any upcoming
election.

Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion without
discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if
approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and consideration.
A. Approval of minutes from the May 20, 2025 City Council regular meeting
B. Resolution authorizing an agreement with Landau for Conceptual Site Model and a Feasibility
Study at Interstate 82 Yakima City Landfill Mill Site Project 2337 (Millsite Fund 323)
C. Ordinance updating Classification and Compensation Plan for City Employees Section

A. Public Hearing to consider: A) Resolution adopting the amended Six-Year Transportation
Improvement Program for the period of 2025-2030, and to amend the Transportation Systems
Plan 2040; and B) Resolution amending the Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan Capital
Facilities Element (No Budgetary Impact)

The next meeting is a City Council study session on June 10, 2025, beginning with Executive
Session at 4:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers.

A. Preliminary Council Agendas for the June 10, 2025 study session and June 17, 2025 regular
meeting
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary
offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the
invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council
does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language
interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office
at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting. A Council packet is available for
