If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a "Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council. 1. Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Public Comment There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Written communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged. State law prohibits electioneering at City facilities. During Public Comment, speakers cannot campaign for or against candidates or support or oppose any ballot measure in any upcoming election. 5. Open Discussion for the Good of the Order 6. Approve payment of disbursements for the period April 1 - 30, 2025 1 D. Resolution setting date for public hearing on June 17, 2025 for public comment on amending the Transportation Benefit District Project List (Transportation Benefit District Fund) E. Resolution setting date of June 17, 2025 to review and adopt the Six-year Transportation Improvement Program and Capital Facilities Element of the Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan for 2026-2031 (No Budgetary impact) F. Resolution authorizing an Interlocal Agreement with Washington Traffic Safety Commission to provide funding for a regional crash team and equipment (No Budgetary Impact) G. Resolution authorizing settlement of damage claims filed by claimant James Bell, doing business as Northwest Liquidators (Risk Management Fund) H. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a collective bargaining agreement between the City of Yakima and the Transit Field Operations Supervisors Group (Teamsters Local 760)for January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2027 I. Adjournment The next meeting is a City Council regular meeting on June 3, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. 13. Council General Information A. Preliminary Council Agendas for the June 3, 2025 regular meeting B. Cost of New Garbage Cans on N. 1st St. Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings.
