Public Comment – None Discussion: Conceptual Site Plan- The Commission discussed the requirement for a conceptual, non-binding site plan as part of the non-project rezone process. The provision, added around 2017, aims to provide insight into potential future site use but has caused confusion among the public There was discussion on how while it helps provide context, it can mislead discussions by focusing on specific site plans rather than the broader zoning decision. Staff will research the original intent behind the requirement and return with recommendations at a future meeting. It was agreed to also discuss greenspace as part of the Comp Plan Update. Comprehensive Plan Timeline – The Commission discussed the Comprehensive Plan timeline and public engagement efforts, including an April 16 open house.
