' WHEREAS, a surplus of funds exist in Acceunt 7-01 Administrative of the Salaries classification o the 1960 appropriation for 11 City Manager, and WHEREAS, at the time Of the adoption of the 1960Budget it. could not have been reasonably foreseen that the sum of $406.18 would be . required to pay the moVing expenses of the new City Manager, George D. Smith, from.Taoa Washington to Ya4tima Washington, and no moneys were appropriated in .Account 7 Miscellaneous, of the 1960 appro- priation for 11 - City Manager, to coVer.the same and WHEREAS, surpluses - exist in Accounts 7".27 Other Departments • and 7-86, Water Assessments &.Storage, of the Maintenance & Operation class“ication of the 1960 appropriation for 51 - Irrigation Depart- ment, and WHEREAS, at. the time of the adoption of the 1960 Budget it could not have been reasonably foreseen that additional necessary repairs and construction would require additional sums in Account 7. Hourly Labor, of the Salaries classification, and Accounts 741 Auto Motor Fuel Etc, . and 755 Light & Power of the Maintenance & Operation classification, all within the 1960 appropriation for 51 Irrigation Department and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the people of the City of Yakilaa to make the transfe herein pro- vided that an emergency exists, and that the action contemplated III herein is authoried by R.C.W., 35.53.120, now therefore BE IT ORDAIWED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA Section 1. That the following sum is hereby transferred within 411 the 1960 appropriation for 11 - City Manager to-wit From SALARIES 7-01 Administrative $406.18 To. MAINTENANCE & OPERATION 7-99 Miscellaneous $406.18 Section 2. That the following sums are hereby transferred within the 1960 appropriation for 51 - Irrigation Department to-wit: From MAINTENANCE & OPERATION. 7-27 Other Departments $375,00 7-86 Water Assessments & Storage 200.00 755,T7RY To: SALARIES 7-06 Hourly Labor $375.00 MAINTENANCE dcOPEWION 7-41 Auto., Motor Fuel, Etc. 60.00 7-55 Light & Power 140.00 - TO Section 3, The Director of Finance of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to make the foregoing transfers. Section* .
