AGENDA STATEMENT
SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Proposed is a Temporary Water Transfer Interlocal Agreement for the City of Yakima to lease 31 shares
of Yakima-Tieton Irrigation District water to the City of Tieton for the 2025 irrigation season. The 31
shares of irrigation water is currently not necessary to supply the City of Yakima's operations for 2025,
whereas the City of Tieton has a need for this irrigation water.
Under the proposed Agreement, the City of Tieton would pay $137.79./share to the City of Yakima; plus
the billing charge of $101.91 for a total of $4,373.40 for the year. This arrangement with the City of
Tieton was first implemented in 2014.
